Hello All! I'm Stephanie Shaw. I have a BA from William Paterson University in English Literature and Secondary Education. I also have an MA in Literacy/Reading Specialist from NJCU. I've been teaching English at Hackensack High School for twelve years and currently created a senior elective/middle college course that is titled Comparative Mythology/English 4 (I'm a total mythology nerd). I've been coaching Destination Imagination (problem solving club/competition for cool nerds) for eleven years and have become very adept at fixing anything with duct tape. In my spare time I like reading (I'm obsessed with my Kindle), watching really bad TV (Maury, Jersey Shore, anything on TLC and Style) eating pizza, and hanging with my husband in our backyard. I still haven't grown out of my Hello Kitty and unicorn phase and my classroom looks like a teenage girl lives there.
